It all started in the early 1970s, when two young Mexican Immigrants, Aurello and Belen, began selling tacos out of a cooler at soccer games in Humboldt Park.

Soon, these delicious tacos became the hottest food Item at the parks. What began as a small side hustle quickly

turned into a movement fueled by bold flavor, work ethic, and heart-that made them the largest Latino concessionaires in the Chicago Park District.
In 1998, their son Ulysses opened Flash Taco in the heart of Bucktown and Wicker Park, carrying the family legacy forward.

For almost 30 years, Flash Taco has been a go-to for affordable and authentic Mexican food served with love, hustle, and flavor.

Today, Flash Taco Catering brings that same passion and flavor to the big stage from private parties to high-profile events across Chicago.
